Find your panel

Filmit plugins appear as panels inside After Effects and Premiere Pro. Here is where to find them after installing.

After Effects

  1. Open After Effects.
  2. Go to Window > Extensions.
  3. Select the Filmit tool you installed (for example, GridMaker).
  4. The panel opens. Drag it to dock it anywhere in your workspace.

Premiere Pro

  1. Open Premiere Pro.
  2. Go to Window > Extensions.
  3. Select the Filmit tool you installed.
  4. Dock the panel wherever you like.

Do not see it?

  • Make sure you installed the tool for the right app. Some plugins are After Effects only, some are Premiere only, and some work in both. Check the tool in Studio.
  • If the app was open during install, restart it.

Tip: once docked, save a custom workspace in your editing app so your panel is always there when you open a project.
