Refund Policy

Free Trials

Both plans include a seven (7) day free trial. A payment method is required to start a trial, and you are not charged during the trial period.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged. You can cancel from your billing page at filmit.io/account/billing at any time during the trial, without contacting us.

If you do not cancel, the trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of day seven and your payment method is charged the price disclosed to you at signup. Lemon Squeezy sends you a reminder by email before that charge is made.

Trials are limited to one per customer. If you have used a trial before, you will be routed to a standard checkout without a trial.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with your Filmit.io subscription for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

• No questions asked. No hoops to jump through.
• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
• Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

The 14-day guarantee applies to your first paid subscription charge, including the first charge after a free trial converts. Renewal charges after that are covered by the Renewal Charges section below rather than by this guarantee.

How to Request a Refund

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, from your billing page at filmit.io/account/billing. Cancelling takes a couple of clicks on the same screen as your billing details. You do not need to email us, call us, or speak to anyone, and there is no retention process to work through. Cancelling is at least as easy as signing up. Here's what happens when you cancel:

• You keep access to all tools and features until the end of your current billing period.
• Your account is not deleted — you can resubscribe at any time.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time on a cancelled subscription.

For example, if you're on a monthly plan and cancel on day 10, you still have access for the remaining 20 days of that billing cycle.

Renewal Charges

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, please contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge and we'll issue a refund.

After 48 hours, renewal refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We want to be fair — if you haven't used the service since the renewal, we'll likely refund it.

Payment Processing

All payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, tax calculation, and refund processing on our behalf.

Refund processing times depend on your payment method and financial institution. Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

• Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds).
• Violation of our Terms of Service.
• Accounts terminated for misconduct.

These situations are rare. In the vast majority of cases, we process refunds immediately and without issue.
