Demo videos
Watch Claude work in a real project through Filmit MCP. Each video shows the prompt and what Claude did with it. The videos are in English.
These videos were made before Filmit joined Claude’s connector directory, so they add Filmit as a custom connector. That still works, but searching for Filmit in Browse connectors is quicker. See Connect Claude.
Set up Claude
Premiere Pro
Installing Filmit Studio, turning on the MCP tab, adding the connector, choosing what Claude can do on its own, and a first edit on a two-camera interview.
After Effects
Connecting Claude from the MCP tab, then Claude building layers, keyframes and expressions in a comp from a plain-words prompt.
DaVinci Resolve
Opening Filmit Studio from Workflow Integrations, connecting Claude, and a first edit on a two-camera interview.
Editing jobs in Premiere Pro
Build a rough cut from a transcript
Claude lays out a 60 second rough cut from a narration transcript: the narration on A1, the matching stills on V1 and a marker on each section. A second prompt adds gentle push, pull and slide moves to every still.
Cut a B-roll montage to music
Claude reads the music on A1, looks through the B-roll bins and cuts a 60 second highlight video to the beat.
Make a B-roll selects reel
Every drone and camera B-roll clip, four seconds from the middle of each, with music underneath and dissolves between.
Cover jump cuts with B-roll
Claude covers about every other cut with B-roll on V2, scales it to fill the frame, adds music and puts a marker on each cut it left uncovered.
Organize a project
One prompt sorts loose interviews, B-roll, stills, music and sequences into bins. The video also shows Organizer, our tool that does the same sort the same way every time.
Clean up a timeline for a client
Working on a copy of the sequence, Claude takes out disabled clips, closes gaps, trims the music to picture and adds fades and dissolves.
Run a QC pass before delivery
Claude checks for gaps, flash frames, disabled clips, duplicate shots and clips running past the music. It fixes what is safe to fix and puts a marker on the rest for you to look at.
Audit a project before handoff
Claude reads every sequence, works out which one is current, moves unused clips into an Unused bin without deleting anything, and writes a handoff note.
Next: Recipes has prompts you can copy into your own project.
