What Retro does
Retro turns your footage into old video-game and home-console imagery, with chunky pixels, a quantized palette, and the bleeding composite-cable color you remember from a CRT. It runs entirely on the GPU as a real After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve effect, so you get a live, render-accurate preview while you work.
Stack pixelation, scanlines, dot crawl, phosphor glow, and screen curvature to go from a light retro wash to a full plugged-in-the-back-of-the-TV look, or pick a preset and refine it. Every control is keyframable, so you can boot the look up, glitch the signal, or settle it back down across a shot.
