What CRTme does
CRTme recreates the look of an old CRT and retro display, the curved glass, glowing phosphors, and visible scanlines you remember from tube televisions and arcade monitors. It runs entirely on the GPU as a real After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve effect, so you get a live, render-accurate preview while you work, with none of the layer stacking or plugin chains the look usually takes.
Drop it on any clip and shape the screen from a clean modern monitor to a heavy, beat-up tube, choosing the phosphor pattern, scanline weight, and amount of glass curve. Every control is animatable, so you can power the display on, warp the image, or build the glow across a shot.

Dial in the exact look
Phosphor mask
Choose the dot pattern of the screen, from a shadow mask to an aperture grille or slot mask.
Scanlines
Lay down the horizontal scanlines of a tube display and set how dark and pronounced they read.
Curvature
Bend the image to match the rounded glass of a CRT, from flat to a deep bulge.
Convergence
Split the color channels apart at the edges the way a misaligned tube does.
Bloom
Let the bright parts of the picture glow out past their edges like a hot phosphor screen.
Vignette
Darken the corners to frame the picture inside the body of the tube.
