What Comlink does
Comlink recreates the look of a sci-fi communication hologram, a keyed subject floating in projected light with scanlines, flicker, and a glowing rim. It runs entirely on the GPU as a real After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve effect, so you get a live, render-accurate preview while you work, with none of the layer stacking or plugin chains the look usually takes.
Drop it on a keyed clip and style your subject into a comm hologram, choosing the scan pattern, the rim glow, and the tint that sets the projection's color, starting from a preset. Every control is animatable, so you can flicker the projection to life or have it cut in and out like a failing signal.

Pull your subject out of its background so the hologram reads as projected light, not a flat plate.
Scanlines
Run horizontal scan bands through the figure for that projected-display texture.

RGB split
Offset the color channels to give the projection a fringed, electronic edge.
