Inspired by Parker
Parker (2013) was DP J. Michael Muro's action thriller adaptation of the Donald Westlake source novels. The grade pushed for higher contrast and cooler shadows than typical action-thriller fare, supporting the solo-protagonist Parker as a visually distinct figure across the runtime. The look has been referenced in subsequent lone-wolf action narrative.
