Spy Martini
Spy Martini LUTs
Casino Royale-Inspired Modern Bond Polish
Inspired by Casino Royale
Warm amber highlights, rich shadow tints, crime-drama polish.
The Look
Spy Martini is the modern Bond grade: warm amber highlights, controlled contrast, and the kind of polished tungsten interior that defines casino-floor and hotel-suite cinema. The pack runs warm without going orange, holds shadows with character rather than crush, and protects skin tones across the ensemble work that spy cinema demands. Built for narrative pieces where elegance and tension share the frame.
Inspired by Casino Royale
Casino Royale (2006) was the visual reset of the Bond franchise. DP Phil Méheux and director Martin Campbell deliberately rejected the cooler, gadget-heavy palette of the Brosnan years in favor of a warmer, more European-thriller tone. The grade carried through Daniel Craig's run and influenced almost every spy thriller of the 2010s, including the Bourne films, the Mission Impossible reboots, and the Kingsman series.
Best For
- Spy thriller and espionage narrative
- High-end fashion and lifestyle content
- Casino, hotel, and yacht-deck scene work
- Commercial work for premium brands
- Travel content set in European cities
Color Notes
These LUTs love tungsten and chandelier light. Daylight exteriors will pull warm in a way that can read as period rather than modern; correct white balance carefully or stay in interior settings. The punchy-warm-teal-drift variant handles most modern spy-thriller scenes.
