MMA Brothers
MMA Brothers LUTs
Warrior-Inspired Fight Cinema
Inspired by Warrior
Punchy contrast, grit in the shadows, sweat-and-chrome warmth.
The Look
MMA Brothers is the modern fight-cinema grade. Built around Warrior's contrast-heavy, sweat-glow vocabulary: warmed midtones on skin, grit in the shadows, and the kind of contrast that gives gym training, fight prep, and cage sequences the visual energy they need. The pack handles both fight-set work and the surrounding training and locker-room interior footage.
Inspired by Warrior
Warrior (2011) was Gavin O'Connor and DP Masanobu Takayanagi's MMA family-drama. The grade leaned hard into sweat, blood, and locker-room tungsten: contrast that made every face glow with effort, shadow handling that protected the gym-and-cage architecture, controlled saturation across both training and fight sequences. The look has influenced subsequent fight cinema: Bleed for This, The Iron Claw, the recent Cassius X.
Best For
- MMA, boxing, wrestling, and fight cinema
- Sports training and locker-room documentary
- Music videos with fight or training direction
- Lifestyle content for combat-sport brands
- Action sequences with physical-contact emphasis
Color Notes
These LUTs love sweat and warm practical light. Locker-room tungsten develops the strongest response. The grit-in-shadow variants are gym defaults; the sweat-and-chrome variants suit cage and fight sequences.
