Bad Boys II-Inspired Miami Action
Inspired by Bad Boys II
Neon reflections, saturated midtones, high-octane contrast.
The Look
Miami Pursuit is the Miami-action grade. Built around the high-saturation, palm-tree-and-pastel vocabulary that Michael Bay's Bad Boys II made standard for Miami cinema. Neon nights, saturated daylight exteriors, the kind of contrast that makes ocean-side action sequences feel kinetic and visually loud. The pack is purpose-built for any project set in Miami, South Beach, or visually similar tropical urban environments.
Inspired by Bad Boys II
Bad Boys II (2003) was DP Amir Mokri's Miami cinematography establishing the saturated, high-contrast tropical-urban vocabulary that has carried through every subsequent Miami-set action film, lifestyle video, and rap music video. The grade leaned hard into the visual identity of the city itself: palm trees, ocean blues, sunset oranges, neon nightlife.
Best For
- Action narrative set in Miami or similar tropical-urban environments
- Lifestyle and travel content from South Beach, Cuba, or Caribbean
- Rap and hip-hop music videos
- Commercial work for tropical lifestyle brands
- Anything where saturated daylight and saturated night should coexist
Color Notes
The saturation push can over-warm Miami-summer footage. Pull saturation 10 percent if shots feel cartoonish. The neon-reflections variants suit night exteriors; the saturated-midtones variants are for daylight chase sequences.
