Inspired by The Sopranos

The Sopranos (1999-2007) was filmed across New Jersey with multiple DPs over six seasons, but the grade stayed remarkably consistent: warm interiors, controlled suburban exteriors, deep shadow work on the iconic strip-club and waste-management-office set pieces. The look became the template for prestige TV crime drama, influencing Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and most modern crime-family narrative.
