Highway Stunt
Highway Stunt LUTs
Fast & Furious 6-Inspired High-Octane Action
Inspired by Fast & Furious 6
Neon reflections, saturated midtones, high-octane contrast.
The Look
Highway Stunt is the daytime sibling of Drift Tokyo. Same saturation push, same high-octane contrast, but shifted toward sunlit exteriors and asphalt rather than neon-lit streets. The pack is built for car content, action shorts, and anything shot under direct sun where the goal is to keep saturation high without going cartoonish. Chrome, asphalt, hood lines, and rubber smoke all develop a slight metallic sheen under this grade.
Inspired by Fast & Furious 6
Fast & Furious 6 (2013) was the entry that fully cemented the franchise's daytime visual: contrasty exterior action, saturated cars, vivid skies. DP Stephen F. Windon (continuing from the earlier films) leaned into the chrome-and-asphalt vocabulary that has become inseparable from the franchise's identity.
Best For
- Action and chase sequences shot in daylight
- Car-culture and automotive content
- Lifestyle and travel content with vehicle focus
- Music videos shot on highways or open road
- Commercial work for automotive brands
Color Notes
The saturation can over-push on already-warm exterior footage. Pull saturation 10 percent in primaries if your daylight shots start looking neon. The matte-punchy-cool variants balance well on bright exterior scenes.
