The Look

Enchanted School is the warm-magical fantasy grade. Built around the candle-and-hearth interior vocabulary of early Harry Potter cinema, the pack pushes amber midtones, deepens shadows toward umber rather than cool blue, and protects the magical practical light sources (floating candles, fireplaces, wand sparks) from getting color-shifted. Built for footage in old-stone interiors, libraries, dining halls, and any project trading on the cozy-magical visual register.

Inspired by Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) was DP John Seale's foundational visual entry for the franchise. The grade leaned warm and inviting for the early Hogwarts sequences, contrasting with the cold Muggle Dursley world. The warm-magical palette has rippled through every subsequent magical-school narrative, from Fantastic Beasts to The School for Good and Evil.

Color Notes
