Dark Origin is the grounded sibling of Caped Vigilante. Where the classic comic-book grade leans theatrical, this pack holds saturation closer to natural and pushes contrast through shadow depth rather than primary saturation. The result is a superhero grade that could pass for crime drama until the costume shows up. Built for the modern Nolan-era and post-Nolan approach: realistic lighting, grounded color, with just enough heightening to keep the genre on the page.

Inspired by Batman Begins

Batman Begins (2005) was a deliberate visual reset for the franchise. DP Wally Pfister shot it more like a crime thriller than a comic-book film: shadows held depth, saturation stayed restrained, the heroic warmth was carried by tungsten practical light rather than graded color. The grounded approach has since defined every modern serious superhero film, from The Dark Knight through Logan to The Batman.

Color Notes
