Star Wars: Attack of the Clones-Inspired Space Battle Grading
Inspired by Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
Cosmic blues, star-field contrast, cinematic space grade.
The Look
Clone Storm is the high-energy cosmic battle pack. Where Deep Space Drift leans restrained and documentary, this pack pushes saturation higher, accepts brighter contrast, and is built for the more theatrical space-opera visual tradition: laser fire, capital ships, planetary surfaces with stylized color. Blues sit deeper, reds and oranges hold more saturation, and the overall energy reads as battle rather than meditation.
Inspired by Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) was the first all-digital Star Wars film, shot on early Sony HDW-F900 cameras. The grade leaned into the digital palette that George Lucas was pioneering: saturated planetary colors (Geonosis red, Kamino blue, Coruscant warmth), heightened contrast, deliberately theatrical primaries. The look has carried through prequel-era space opera and into the more recent Disney-era Star Wars films.
Best For
- Space opera and sci-fi narrative with theatrical ambition
- Trailer cuts for animated or visual-effects-heavy projects
- Music videos with sci-fi or cosmic direction
- Cosplay and fan-film content
- Action sequences with stylized color and high primary saturation
Color Notes
The saturation push will exaggerate any color cast in your source. Correct white balance before applying. The star-field variants work for true exteriors; the cinematic-space variants suit studio and set work.
