Arena Dust II
Arena Dust II LUTs
Gladiator-Inspired Epic Period (Variant Pack)
Inspired by Gladiator
Sun-baked sepia, warm dust, desaturated skies.
The Look
Arena Dust II extends the Roman-epic vocabulary with a parallel intensity ladder. Same sun-baked sepia, slightly different push on warm vs cool balance. Use one pack for the Roman scenes and the other for Germanic, Egyptian, or non-Roman period work in a multi-location project.
Inspired by Gladiator
Historical epic cinema relies on location-distinct visual vocabulary. Two related packs let you grade Roman scenes with one tonal anchor and other-world scenes (Germania, Egypt, Persia) with a parallel grade that maintains visual continuity while introducing delineation.
Best For
- Multi-location historical epic needing visual structure
- Period drama covering related civilizations
- Music videos with sub-act or location-shift direction
- Documentary covering related historical regions
- Anything where the original Arena Dust pack feels too one-note
Color Notes
Designed to layer with the original Arena Dust pack across project acts. Test both on a hero shot to determine which serves which location best. The bleached variants suit memory and dream sequences.
