We want you to love using Filmit Studio. But if it's not the right fit, we don't want your money. This policy outlines how refunds work for all Filmit.io subscriptions.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your Filmit.io subscription for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
- No questions asked. No hoops to jump through.
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
The 14-day guarantee applies to your initial subscription purchase. It does not apply to subsequent renewal charges.
How to Request a Refund

Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page or through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Here's what happens when you cancel:
- You keep access to all tools and features until the end of your current billing period.
- Your account is not deleted — you can resubscribe at any time.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time on a cancelled subscription.
For example, if you're on a monthly plan and cancel on day 10, you still have access for the remaining 20 days of that billing cycle.
Renewal Charges
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, please contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge and we'll issue a refund.
After 48 hours, renewal refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We want to be fair — if you haven't used the service since the renewal, we'll likely refund it.
Payment Processing
All payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, tax calculation, and refund processing on our behalf.
Refund processing times depend on your payment method and financial institution. Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:
- Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds).
- Violation of our Terms of Service.
- Accounts terminated for misconduct.
These situations are rare. In the vast majority of cases, we process refunds immediately and without issue.
