Color Master scans fill colors, stroke colors, text colors, shape layer colors, solid layer colors, and color properties in effects. It also scans inside precomps and nested compositions recursively.
Color Master displays all colors as hex values in the panel. When editing, you can enter hex, RGB, or use the visual color picker. All formats are converted to AE's native color representation when applied.
Color Master scans static color values. Colors that are driven by expressions are detected but marked as expression-driven. You can still see them in the panel, but replacing them requires removing the expression first.
Yes. Color Master recursively scans all precomps and nested compositions. Every color at every level of your project hierarchy is discovered and listed in the panel.
