Install Filmit Studio

Filmit Studio is the free desktop app that installs, updates, and manages every Filmit plugin and asset in one place. It runs on macOS and Windows, and it is the only thing you need to download to get started.

Download Studio

1. Ir a filmit.io y haz clic en Download Studio (you will also find it on the Página de Filmit Studio).
2. The site gives you the right installer for your computer:
   • Windows: an .exe installer
   • macOS: a .dmg disk image
3. Save the file, then open it.

Install on Windows

1. Double-click the downloaded .exe.
2. If Windows shows a SmartScreen prompt, click More info then Run anyway. Filmit Studio is code-signed, so this prompt usually does not appear.
3. Follow the installer. Studio opens automatically when it finishes.

Install on macOS

1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg.
2. Drag the Filmit Studio icon into your Applications folder.
3. Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS may ask you to confirm. Click Open.

When Studio opens, sign in with your Filmit account. If you do not have one yet, see Crea tu cuenta to start your free trial.

Studio keeps itself up to date automatically, so you install it once and forget about it. See Updates and channels.
