Updates and channels

Filmit Studio keeps both itself and your plugins up to date, so you are always on the latest version without manual downloads.

Actualizaciones automáticas

  • Studio updates itself in the background. When a new version is ready, it installs the next time you restart the app.
  • Plugins update through Studio. New versions are fetched and applied for you.

Release channels

Most people stay on the stable channel, which is the default and gets thoroughly tested releases. If you are a beta tester, your account can also see beta builds, so you can try new features early and send feedback. Beta builds are newer and may change quickly.

After an update

If an editing app was open when a plugin updated, restart the app so it loads the new version.
