Premiere Pro setup

Filmit plugins for Premiere Pro appear as panels in the Window menu.

Supported versions

Premiere Pro 2023, 2024, and 2025 are fully supported. 2022 (22.6 and later) works with limited support. See System requirements.

Open a panel

1. Install the tool from Filmit Studio. See Install your first plugin.
2. Open or restart Premiere Pro.
3. Gehe zu Window > Extensions.
4. Choose your Filmit tool. The panel opens.

Dock and save your workspace

Drag the panel to dock it, then save your layout from Window > Workspaces > Save Changes to this Workspace.

Panel is missing?

Restart Premiere Pro and check Window > Extensions again. If it is still missing, see Panel not showing?.
