Troubleshooting Studio

Most issues are quick to fix. Work through the relevant section below, and contact us if anything is still stuck.

Studio will not sign in

  • Check your email and password are correct. Use forgot password if needed.
  • Confirm your subscription is active in Abrechnungseinstellungen.
  • Make sure you are connected to the internet. Sign-in needs a connection.

Studio will not update

  • Restart Studio. Updates install on restart.
  • If it still will not update, download the latest version from filmit.io and install over the top. Your settings are kept.

A plugin will not install

  • Make sure your editing app is closed, then try the install again.
  • Confirm you have enough free disk space and that the extensions folder is writable.
  • Restart Studio and retry.

A plugin installed but does not appear

This is almost always a restart or a Window menu issue. See Panel not showing?.

A plugin shows as locked
